Syntax checker for Asterisk config files.

Postby chucknb87122 » Wed Apr 06, 2005 7:32 am

Hi,

Is there some sort of Syntax checker for the Asterisk config files. Also is the /var/log/messages the only file that Asterisk dumps messages too or is there another place. My system works but I want to make sure I am not getting any warnings that might affect stability.

Thanks

I see no option for syntax check. As far as log files, check out /etc/asterisk/logger.conf for log paths. The name on the left side of the '=>' is the name of the log file probably found in /var/log/asterisk.
