Comfortable update mechanism

Postby oli004 » Fri Dec 18, 2015 5:45 pm

Hi

I'd lik to switch from Asterisk 10 to 13 Certificate and am looking for a comfortable way to administer updates in the future.

In Asterisk 10 updates could be installed easily via CentOS' yum and http://packages.asterisk.org/, which is not supported anymore, unfortenatly.

Is there a new way to update Asterisk, without having to build everything from source every time?
How does AsteriskNOW administer updates? Does it use some kind of package manager?
Do you have maybe a tip?

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards

Hi

can you please tell me the update process in AsteriskNOW. How does it work when a new Asterisk update (e.g. 13.6.0 -> 13.7.0) is released?

Kind regards
