Installing Asterisk from repo

Postby newborn » Tue Dec 22, 2015 6:21 am

Hi!
I want to understand, are these RPMs valid or not? Can i install Asterisk from them? Are these repos being supported or maintained by anyone?

http://packages.asterisk.org/centos/6/c ... i386/RPMS/

For about Asterisk 11, the latest version from there repos is 11.17.1 and seems to be outdated...

Howdy,

Given the note attached to the wiki page, I don't think it'd be wise to base any deployed systems on those packages.
