Manual macro add - am I putting them in the right spots?

Postby olsjohnluke » Wed Jan 17, 2007 4:12 pm

Trying to use this macro (flash hook transfer), but it didn't indicate where to put the code, so I've put the macro line in extensions.conf above [macro-trunkdial].

Code: Select all
[macro-cell_user]
exten => s,1,Playback(transfer)
exten => s,2,Flash()
exten => s,3,SendDTMF(${ARG1})
exten => s,4,Hangup()

and I put the [globals] portion under the description of TRUNK=IAX2/user:pass@provider. It is:

Code: Select all
; context in the current one as well, optionally with a
; date and time.  Included contexts are included in the order
; they are listed.
;
EricCell = 5558556555
JohnLukeCell = 5553557556
MickeyCell = 5557595555
WesleyCell = 5555555555
;[context]
;exten => someexten,{priority|label{+|}offset}[(alias)],application(arg1,arg2,$

I've put the [remote-sets] code under the paging macro, and before [demo] "We start with what to do when a call first comes in".

Are these in the right places? They're all in extensions.conf - is asteriskNow going to read these? Macro doesn't work as is, but I do need this feature working before the server gets put in production testing. Thanks -

Edit: j4m3s informed me that the [remote-sets] list actually needed to be part of the [default] context in extensions.conf. The extensions exist now, but I get the following error now, which I can't quite decipher:

Code: Select all

On another note, when implementing the find-me-follow-me programme, how can it be set up to use the flash-hook-transfer macro as well?
