too many hopes, but it's still in beta ...

Hallo,
After installing VM*NOW I've tried to install other modules and configurations as well.
I regret to say that *NOW does not like changes.

Firstly, my conf files where ignored, then gui doesn't like my changes and changes to wizard with no back button.
Secondly, rPath doesn't like all my installed packages and on future updates it erases them.
Thirdly, rPath doesn't change time ntp=pool.ntp.org
Code: Select all
The following error occurred:
    * Task failed to run with error 'A permanent failure has occurred: Error: Error running '/bin/date 0000000000' /bin/date: invalid date `0000000000' '.
LOG Message: 'There was a problem writing to the /etc/sysconfig/clock file!'

Fourthly, Services were stopped with error :
Code: Select all
Unrecoverable error in the server.

Lastly, with all that I couldn't check *NOW! properly.

If you use the web-based system configurator (rAA) to update, then you'll need to make a configuration file change in order to retain any changes to your system (this behavior excludes configuration files).

in /etc/raa/prod.cfg
from
Code: Select all
# Set to False if you want to use updateall instead of migrate
updatetroves.migrate = True

to
Code: Select all
# Set to False if you want to use updateall instead of migrate
updatetroves.migrate = False
