Update Asterisk Now GUI

Postby matjones » Wed Mar 28, 2007 9:33 am

How do I update the Asterisk NOW gui to the latest revision. I believe they are up to revision 500 and something. Currently my Asterisk NOW is on revision 331.

Thanks,

Mat

you could search the forum ?

http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php? ... update+gui would probably help.

Really, you can search these things, I didn't know that. (where's the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tag when I need it)

I guess I should have been more specific. I did do the updates prior to posting my message, and it appears that it only updates the gui to the revision that is included in the latest NOW beta4 release, which is quite a bit behind the latest revisions found here:

http://svn.digium.com/view/asterisk-gui/

Is it possible to just do an svn update, without messing things up?

Cheers,

Mat

Using the GUI update option will only update to the latest release. Your need to update individual troves or groups using conary. The latest list is at
http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/repos/asterisk/browse

Or you can wait a short while the beta 5 is due out iminetly.

Well, the GUI are just html static files, so you can create a dir and download the svn AsteriskNow branch and then after doing the make install you will have the latest version of the gui. The only problem is just the possibility of installing a broken version.... I'm doing this myself.
