Call issue on my sip external clients

Postby dbissonnette » Mon Dec 29, 2014 1:52 pm

Just setup Asterisk Now 11.0.2. I have three SIP phones, iPhones running zoiper. Within my network no issues, users can call each other. If they are external no joy. The called extension rings, you answer it and no voice and then it drops. In SIP settings I have NAT enabled, an external ip that is my fqdn with port 5060 on my firewall pointing to the internal address.

NAT problems are fiddly and you have provided no information on the configuration or logging of the protocol handshake. Also, this is not specific to AsteriskNOW, so many people may not be seeing the question.

I have the exact same problem and have no idea how to solve it!

The issue is solved if you change all of your clients to IAX but the problem is that I have a few Grandstream that do now allow IAX only SIP and now I cannot use them!

With IAX the problem is that sometimes the whole system craches and from one minute to the other:
- user 101 can call to 102 and 103 and 104
- users 102 and 103 cannot call anybody
- user 104 can call 101 only

after a reboot everybody can cal everybody

Have you solved the SIP problem in other way?

Doesn't sound like you have "exactly the same problem", but if you did, the outstanding requests for further information would apply to you as well.
