ZOMBIE Queue

Postby lucaslwb » Fri Jan 09, 2015 12:13 pm

Hi!
I have a problem during transfering calls in asterisk.
If I try to transfer a call to another extension and turn off my telephone the destination phone stops to ring and the call stay on music on hold "forever"...
I looked the logs and see that "ZOMBIES" queues was created while I tried to transfer.

Someone knows what caused this? Or how can I solve it?
All was working fine some days before..

A log:

Zombies are an internal mechanism within Asterisk, used, amongst other things, for transfers. A zombie channel has been replaced by another channel handling the same call leg.

For the reference to queues, you need to ask the person who wrote the dialplan; the FreePBX dialplan is not part of Asterisk.

But everything was working fine some days ago and nothing was changed in the asterisk configuration. Is there something that you know that can cause this problem?
Thanks!

No. Also you would need top provide SIP protocol traces to work out exactly what is happening. In particular, switching a phone off is not something specifically covered in the SIP standards, so one would need to see whether the phone sends anything before going silent.
