Inbound calls not working on sip trunk

Postby asilem87 » Wed Jul 29, 2015 1:58 am

Hi all,

I am running ElastixPBX with Asterisk 11.13.0 and I am stuck with this problem since yesterday. I have configured sip trunk and add outbound and inbound routes. Outgoing calls are working but I have problem with incoming calls. They are working when I add incoming route with any DID/any CID or DID/any CID, but they are not working with DID/CID or any DID/CID which is excatly what I need. I got the error : "Received an unknown call with DID set to "myDID" with message "the number you have dialed is not in service". I tried with allowguest=yes option but it doesnt work.Any ideas?

sip trunk outgoing settings:
trunkname : mytrunk

PEER DETAILS
type=peer
host=xxx.xxx.xxx
secret=mysecret
outboundproxy=xxx.xxx.xxx
port=5060
username=myDID
fromuser=myDID
fromdomain=xxx.xxx.xxx
canreinvite=no
nat=yes
insecure=port,invite
disallow=all
allow=ulaw

sip trunk incoming settings:
USER DETAILS
empty

Thank you

You need to provide logs.

Make sure your register string uses the the trunk name instead of DNS host. This is necessary to get outboundproxy to work.

This might be because of adapter is placed behind the router that is why calls are going directly to the voice mail. You have to check your internet connection and check if your router setting might have changed. Some routers alter SIP packets with default configuration which creates such problems.
