Release 13 MOH is broken

Postby hanscanderson » Wed Sep 16, 2015 9:49 am

I have been trying all morning to find a way to input a file to the MOH handler without success
Log records the following when trying to load previous Release 11 accepted files. Release 13 does not complete the file process. Log process listed below. What has happened?

Additional information for your consideration when replying to my previous post information.

What is the "starting codec is not valid" statement really telling me? There is no codec selection process in the MOH setup page, only a file type to convert the file to. Using WAV as needed by Asterisk should create a 16 bit *.wav 8KHz file. I had files playing in Release 11 which will now not load. Upon first power up of R13 the existing R11 files in the system played. These files did not list or display in R13, but were used as MOH by R13. When trying to load new files I manually removed the R11 files and proceeded with loading though the R13 MOH setup. At this point nothing would load and nothing would play.

I am faced with several issues/questions.
1. Can someone share a streaming statement the is known to work with a streaming source?
2. Will that individual share the file with me that the streaming source is sending by UDP datagrams?
3. Can someone share with me the file locations and contentes needed for MOH to stream and what the *.confg files look like that actually work?
3. Is there or will there be a patch to correct R13 MOH setup to accept, process, and save loaded files through the FreePBX R13 release?
4. Where can I find the definitive description of MOH Custom Application Format statement content?

I am really new at this and sure could use some experienced help and suggestions.
Thanks in advance for any pointers or assistance.
