Command to Open the AsteriskNOW Console?

Postby rquick » Tue Jan 09, 2007 5:14 pm

Hello,

I'm using Putty to remote into my AsteriskNOW machine and was wondering if their were a command to open the "AsteriskNOW Console Menu" remotely.

Thanks in advance!

It is only a dialog
you can find the cmdline from

ps ax | grep dialog

or goto the procfs to find more...

if you goto see the /etc/inittab, you will notice

this "/etc/asterisk/gui/anmenu"

you can sudo this, but some more env variables are needed.
Or just :

sudo su -; /etc/asterisk/gui/anmenu

I think this is quite useless. What I want is the cli for debugging...
And only after sudo su - , I can go asterisk -r with sanity.

sudo is great and formal, but lacking the env variables would be s_cking...
