AsteriskNOW Installation-Ubuntu's grub file

Postby scenarist » Sun Jan 31, 2010 10:30 am

I have one physical HDD with four logical partitions. On my first partition I have installed Winxp, on second partition-ubuntu9.10 and on third partition -Centos 5.4. Default grub file is ubuntu's

I wish to install on 4 partition AsteriskNOW.

I have question about grub file ?

Would I be able to boot other systems (ubuntu, centos,xp) after AsteriskNOW is installed ??
Will asteriskNOW recognize ubuntu's grub file ??

Were you able to find out the answer by yourself? If not, don't do that way (on the partition 4).
It is advised to be installed on a single partition HDD cause it would swipe the hard disk clean.
Most likely issue could be the grub will not load if you boot your windows system anytime later.
