Postby mkaamir » Thu Aug 12, 2010 12:29 pm

hello i hope i am on the right forum if not please guide me
OK here is my question very simple and i know someone out there have the answer to it. i have one machine one sip account and i want to handle three different clients on it instead having three machines i want to use one machine.so lets say i have three companies three different names and three different phone numbers
1:mycompany 1888-555-12345 Ext:1 Sales Ext:2 Accounts Ext:3 James
2:yourcompany 1866-551-0000 Ext:1 sports Ext:2 Accounts Ext:3 sales
3:hercompany 1877-222-1111 Ext:1 Sindy Ext:2 Support Ext:3 Sales

another word how do i create companies in Asterisk so i can sell the service to my clients out of one box instead get a machine for every client
Thanks Amir

For each trunk create a specific context for inbound calls and the same for the extensions, In asterisk you create extensions, contexts and dialplans not companies. So for each company you need to create contexts and create specific rules.
