AsteriskNow outgoing call problem

Postby LeoBurchi » Sat Aug 21, 2010 2:07 am

Hi to all,
I'm a new bie, and I'm trying to setup my first VOIP system.
I installed AsteriskNow 1.7 with a PCI card TDM400P and 2 FXO channel connected to 2 analog phone lines. I configured the system with 3 GrandStream phone and 1 XLite softphone.
All works perfectly if I made internal call or receive call from the TDM interface, but I cannot make external call from the SIP phone.
I configured an outbound route over the trunk Zap/g0 created by default from FreePBX but when I try to make an external call, I get always the voice saying the channel are all busy.
Where is the problem in your opinion?

Thank you very much for your help!!

I solved my problem deleting the trunk g0 and creating two new trunks. One with channel 1 and one with channel 2. Now configuring the outbound call over this 2 trunks all works perfectly.
I hope this could help someone else that have this problem.

Thank you!

Hi Leo

I tried what you did deleting the g0 trunk and created ZAP/g1, ZAP/g2 and ZAP/g3 trunks, then created the outbound route using those 3 trunks and no luck.. all circuits busy message, did you perform anything else? Thanks for the advice.

Hi Uklama,
in my case there were no group in my ZAP channels and Asterisk can't route the call correctly. I added the channel 1 and 2 in the in the trunk, not the g1 and g2.
Try only adding the channel 1 and 2 without g and it should work...

I'm not an expert of Asterisk, but this was my solution...
