Call failure: bearer capability not authorised

Hello, I have a problem when making calls.

From Zoiper I get the following error message:

"Call failure: bearer capability not authorised" and will not let me make the call.

In the console I appear the following lines:

-- Called SIP/xxxxxxx.com/00XXX XXXXXX
-- SIP/xxxxxxx.com-0000000e is circuit-busy

What tools could analyze congestion?

To get the full details of a failed SIP call (CONGESTION is a catchall, which doesn't necessarily imply congestion), use sip set debug on. I suspect there may be no compatible codecs.

This indeed sounds like a codec mismatch. Make sure the configured codecs in Zoiper and asterisk match, then try again.

The next version of zoiper will go back to the normal sip errors instead of the mapped q931 codes, i think they are easier to understand.
