AsteriskNow 2.0.2 FreePBX version

Postby wrinkledcheese » Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:52 am

Hello there.

I have AsteriskNow 2.0.0 installed on a system and it seems to have a version of FreePBX that is unusable - 2.10.0rc1 - and I'm wondering if I install AsteriskNow 2.0.2 will this upgrade to a more recent version of FreePBX.

Is there an easy way to upgrade the FreePBX system that's installed with the lastest from the FreePBX website or am I better off going with the AsteriskNow Distribution?

[edit]
It looks like it downloads on the fly from freepbxdistro.org using the latest stable version 2.210.62.

[edit2]
Never mind that's the FreePBX distro I have in the ROM.

Howdy,

yum update

from the Linux CLI should do the trick for most things, and heading over to the FreePBX Module Admin utility, and upgrading the modules, in the FreePBX admin interface should take care of the rest

yum update of AsteriskNOW seems broken at present. Appears to be looking for wrong kernel package.
