Call to pstn with all numbers 9xxxxxx help

Postby ktly1992 » Sun Dec 06, 2015 2:38 pm

i have VoIP infrastructure in company, end points can dial mobile numbers in this case:

they call 9... they wait for pstn dial ton...after dial-ton they can dial their number.

i do this in this way:

exten => 9,1,dial(sip/8003)
witch sip/8003 is a sip account that is connected to FXO gateway and connected to asterisk via sip trunk.

i want to do this: the end points dial:

909121111111
instead of

9... after-dialton.... 09121111111

This is an Asterisk Support question, not General discussion about the AsteriskNOW installer.

You need to read the documentation for the gateway, to see if it allows some sort of pause digit.

Are you sending the PSTN digits as early media, or has the gateway prematurely answered. In the latter case, you should be able use the D option on Dial. I don't know any way of automating the sending of digits in the early media stage.

Note. I assume you have already tried the obvious of:

exten=>_9.,1,Dial(SIP/8003/${EXTEN:1})

with an appropriate dial plan in the calling device that knows the correct length for external numbers.
