Data24-7: CNAM, Carrier Lookup, etc. CNAM NOW $0.00247!

Postby morenberg » Sat Oct 02, 2010 8:14 pm

Data24-7 offers a bunch of helpful services which you can call from your Asterisk application:

ID24-7: This is our CNAM service. Send us a phone number, get back the subscriber's name. USA only. ($0.00247 ea)

Text@: Our email-to-SMS and email-to-MMS gateway lookup service. Send us a phone number, and get back two email addresses; one to send an SMS message to the phone, and another to send an MMS message. USA only. ($0.005 ea)

Carrier24-7: Our carrier-lookup service. Send us a phone number, we return the name of the country, the name of the carrier, and, if we know them, the email gateway addresses. Our service is number portability (LNP) aware, so if somebody switches phone carriers, we'll know about it immediately. And our service works for over 200 countries! ($0.006 ea)

Each of these services is accessible through our easy-to-use HTTPS/XML-based API, or by batch file uploads via the website.

Membership is $12 per month, and members can access all of our services. Our per-query charges are by far the lowest around.

We offer a free trial - create an account with us and we'll add 15 cents to your prepaid balance for testing.

Data24-7 has a new product that may be of interest to some Asterisk users:

Our GIT24-7 service allows you to bypass the voicemail greeting when leaving messages for people, and "get right to the beep".

Here's how it works:

Most wireless phone carriers provide a way to bypass the greeting by pressing certain touch-tone key(s). But different carriers use different touch-tones for this purpose. If you press the wrong touch-tone, you often end-up in some voicemail sub-menu, such as entering a pin-code to log-in.

Our service looks-up the phone carrier for the phone number you're dialing and determines the proper greeting interrupt tone(s).

Applications which make large volumes of calls can access our service via a simple real-time API. By bypassing the greeting messages, companies can save on phone charges, and often more-importantly, they can significantly decrease the length of each call, thus increasing calls-per-minute.

The cost is $0.005 per phone number lookup, plus a $12 per month membership charge which gives you access to all Data24-7 services.

For legit CNAM customers; we've lowered our CNAM rate to $0.00247 - less than 1/4 penny each, and we've waived our monthly fee. No contracts, no volume commitments; here's the link: http://www.data24-7.com/idspecial.php

We also have a great affiliate program; refer customers to Data24-7 and we will send you monthly checks for 5% of the gross payments they make to us.

If you know people who could benefit from our CNAM, carrier lookup, and other services, refer them to us and get paid!
