Asterisk “Dial() Function” disconnect call on zero credit

Postby mbmannubisht » Mon Mar 02, 2015 4:18 am

Hi Team,
Hope you are doing well...

I have one more question for you guys:

How could we do in asterisk Dial() function, call goes disconnect automatically when user credit limit goes to zero.

Elaborating my question:

I want to create auto disconnection call from dial() function for the customer when there credit limit goes to zero. Running Call get disconnect when its credit limit goes to zero.

We can define credit limit let's say it could be 100 minutes for 1001 extension, if there limit goes to zero on running call ,it will disconnect on the same time.

Without honoring concurrent calls from an extension the requirement could easily be met by using the L-Parameter-Set in the Dial.command.
But if You want to observe call-limits on concurrent calls you shoud either use a Billing-solution or You'll need to have any kind of "watchdog" which will terminate the calls from this extension once the limit is reached. This is a more complicated approach which will lead You to a project for a consultant.
