11.3.0/11.4.0-rc1 Can't Receive FAX

Postby dsrebnick » Sat Apr 06, 2013 11:40 am

A couple of issues here, the first is that I cannot get T.38 to work at all. I experience timeouts where my side is continually sending frames and none are received. OK, so next step is to see where I can get using G.711.

A bit better here, except I am running into error so have tried -- in vain -- to lower speeds using:

;same => n,Set(FAXOPT(modem)=V17,V27,V29)
;same => n,Set(FAXOPT(maxrate)=4800)

This is ignored (yes the semicolon is removed in my dialplan). See below output of fax show session. Data rate is 14,400 despite maxrate being set at 4800.

Any suggestions to help me move past this would be appreciated.

For one, including a modem that can operate at better than 4800bps will take precedence over your 4800bps request for limit.
