CHANUNAVAIL after first call

Postby hartparr » Mon Aug 03, 2009 3:47 pm

Successful setup. Lots of fun.

Got my first skypeout through Asterisk call to go out today. Worked like a champ.

Hung up, tried it again and got the "All Circuts are Busy Now" Message.

Watching the Asterisk output I see...

-- Executing [s-CHANUNAVAIL@macro-dialout-trunk:3] NoOp("SIP/201-0a011690", "TRUNK Dial failed due to CHANUNAVAIL (hangupcause: 38) - failing through to other trunks") in new stack

If I restart asterisk I get the same thing. If I restart the box, the first call works again, but still all subsequent calls do not.

Does this mean the skype channel isn't clearning on hangup?

I'm not sure what is happening with your outbound calls. I can do them all day here with no problems.

What version of Asterisk are you using? Are you using some kind of GUI front-end, etc.? 32-bit or 64-bit? What distribution, etc. Setting debug and verbose > 5 and posting the entire execution of a call might help as well.

It almost sounds like something is causing the skypeforasterisk process that runs in the background to die.

I figured it out....It was a typo in my trunk dial pattern.
