Pocketsphinx integration with AsteriskNow

Postby vikramsaxena » Wed Dec 11, 2013 6:53 am

Hi

I am looking forward to integrate pocketsphinx to an existing version of asterisknow 3.0. I am unable to find any document or video to do so. Can anyone suggest how to perform it?

Thanks in advance!!!

The first question would be whether you are using raw Asterisk or FreePBX. In the latter case, you are on the wrong board.

Having googled pocketsphinx, it is a speech recognition library. In that case, you almost certainly cannot integrate it with AsteriskNOW, you will need to integrate it with Asterisk at the source code level and build your own binaries, That would be a developer level activity, so you want the developer mailing list, etc., not these end user forums.

I suppose there may be some sort of command line interface, in which case the normal functions for capturing input from shell commands could be used.
